NAWIC Undergraduate and Construction Trades Scholarships

Scholarship Sponsored by NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation

Value: $2,500.00
Awards Available: 15
Deadline : Feb 28, 2026

Introduction
The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) supports the construction sector by helping develop a skilled workforce through college degrees and certified training. The construction field includes nearly every professional role — from trades and project management to administrative, legal, financial, insurance, and business ownership roles. The NFSF exists to support students pursuing careers in these areas.

Scholarships and Award Amounts
Each year the Foundation awards more than $250,000 to qualified students enrolled in construction-related programs. Individual awards begin at $1,000. In addition to national scholarships, some local NAWIC chapters offer their own awards.

Undergraduate Scholarship — Who Qualifies
- Enrollment: You must be currently enrolled at a U.S. college or university in a construction-related program and have at least one remaining term in a course of study leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree. High school seniors and students pursuing graduate degrees are not eligible.
- Career Intent: Applicants must intend to pursue a career in a construction-related field.
- Enrollment Status: Both full-time and part-time students may apply.
- Academic Standard: A current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required to be considered.
- Institution Location: Only students attending schools in the United States will be considered for these awards.

Application and Transcript Requirements
- Deadline: The completed application and all attachments must be submitted via email and received by February 28 for consideration for the following academic year. This deadline is strictly enforced.
- Transcripts: If your school only sends transcripts by mail, email nfsf@nawic.org to obtain the address for mailing. Official, sealed transcripts must also be received no later than February 28.

Notification Policy
Scholarship recipients will be notified by the NFSF Administrator. Applicants should not contact the national office to inquire about award status.
