SDFM National Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Society of Defense Financial Management
Program purpose
The National Scholarship Program seeks to honor graduating high school seniors for scholastic excellence, help cover costs as they pursue baccalaureate degrees in financial/resource management, and strengthen scholarship efforts at the local chapter level.

- Must plan to enter a course of study directly related to financial or resource management (examples include business administration, economics, accounting, finance).
Application requirements and submission
- High school applicants must include an endorsement letter from an SDFM chapter. Each chapter president is permitted to submit up to three applications per award year.
- Nominations must be entered via the Awards Online website; local chapter forms will not be accepted.
- A recommendation from an academic official is required; it must be signed and dated.
- Previous national scholarship recipients applying for continued assistance must submit proof of a minimum 3.0 GPA and a letter from their academic institution verifying they remain enrolled in a financial management–related program.
